71638 Ludwigsburg
Germany
Email: info@me-matcha.com
Phone: 0179 7809176
The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
2. General information
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we inform you which data we collect on this website and what we use it for.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Inh. René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host’s servers. The host processes the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Server log files
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of the website.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the website, the shopping cart and the checkout process (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) TTDSG).
- A language cookie from our translation plugin (Falang) that stores your chosen language.
- A first-party cookie for reach measurement (see the “Own reach measurement” section).
You can set your browser to inform you about the use of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases or to exclude them generally. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
7. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or via a contact form, your details including the contact data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering). We do not pass on this data without your consent.
8. Order processing in the online shop (WooCommerce)
Our shop is based on WooCommerce. When you place an order, we process the data you enter (including name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number if applicable, and order and payment information) in order to fulfil the contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For processing, we pass data to the commissioned payment and shipping service providers to the extent necessary for delivery and payment. Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store address, payment and order data for the statutory retention periods (usually six to ten years).
9. Payment service providers
To process payments we use external payment service providers, including PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg). When you select a payment method, the data required for payment processing is transmitted to the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The privacy policies of the respective payment service provider also apply. [Add any further payment service providers used here.]
10. Own reach measurement (creator codes)
To evaluate which partnership/referral links visitors use to find us, we use a data-minimising, self-hosted measurement. When someone opens a link with a creator parameter, we store a first-party cookie (named “mm_creator”, lifetime 30 days) and an anonymised visit record (creator code, time, page visited, shortened/hashed identifier). No directly identifying personal data is stored and no data is transmitted to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the success of our campaigns (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time by deleting or blocking cookies in your browser.
11. Community pinboard (ME Archive)
On our “ME Archive” page you can voluntarily and anonymously leave a thought. We store only the text you enter, the chosen perspective and an anonymous archive ID – no name and no contact details. Your submission is only published after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). To prevent abuse, a shortened/hashed technical identifier is stored temporarily.
12. Fonts
This website loads fonts locally from our own server. There is no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) and no personal data is transmitted to third parties.
13. Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing ceases to apply. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent, your data will be deleted unless there are legally permissible reasons for storing it.
14. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights: right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). To exercise your rights, please contact: info@me-matcha.com.
15. Validity and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid. As our website develops or due to changed legal requirements, it may become necessary to adapt this privacy policy.
